Struck Gold!
Well, after posting on the blog a second ago I randomly clicked on next blog, which usually comes up in spanish or some other random thing, but I hit gold this time! Have a read and feel free to voice your thoughts, I'm intriegued and want to know what happens next myself!

Writing Challange
Hi all
Marina has come up with a challange for us all.
The idea is to write a story with the following criteria.
1. Someone get's attacked/killed
2. However that person turns the tables on their attacker/killer, how do they do it and what happens next?
It's an excellent chance to do some great character building, hint at things to come or things past etc and as usual it's great to see all of the ideas that we can all glean from such a small scrap of an idea!
If you're at book group next week, try to bring them then please :-) or you can post them on here!

On this day of ill omen,
Plague makes its entrance. Within weeks, swathes of Engalnd will be darkened by death's shadow as town and villages burn to the ringing church bells.
While Panic and Suspicion flood the land, a small band of travellers come together to outrun the breakdown in law and order. But when one of their number is found hanging from a tree, the chilling discovery confirms that something more sinister than the plague is in their midst. And as the runes warn of trechary, it appears no one is quite what they seem, least of all the child rune reader, who mercilessly compels each of her companions to tell their stories, and face the consequences.
... a scarred trader in holy relics, a conjuror, two musicians, and a deformed storyteller for company.
